Product details
This is one of the rare instances where a soap is reformulated and improved. The new Tallow Free version lathers like a champ and produces ultra slick, thick and creamy lather. With a healthy dose of lanolin, this soap offers excellent skin care along with the top shelf performance. As much as I liked the original Mitchell's Wool Fat, I like this version 10x better.
Made in Bradford, England, this delicately scented shaving soap was born almost a century ago, when chemist Fred Mitchell discovered it was the lanolin in wool fat that was keeping the hands of local sheep shearers and wool sorters so unnaturally soft. Mitchell's Wool Fat (MWF) Soap is provides plenty of cushion and glide as well as lanolin and other organic ingredients that soothe sensitive skin. MWF Shaving Soap is considered by many to be the best shaving soap around and it has been widely recommended by dermatologists to alleviate skin complaints. The 4.4 OZ soap comes in a ceramic bowl with a lid.
