These Asylum bowls are machined from aircraft grade heavy aluminum to tight tolerances in the United States. The bowls are then hard anodized and laser engraved at another U.S. shop.
The bowls are built like a tank, weigh well over 1 pound when empty and are virtually indestructible. The bowls fit Levante shave soap perfectly but they also fit Czech & Speake soaps, vintage Art of Shaving soaps, Mitchell's Wool Fat and Lea shave soap among others.
The bowls come filled with Asylum Levante soap. This soap is made for us in Spain and it is a top notch triple milled shave soap that lathers easily producing really slick and protective lather that also has excellent skin conditioning qualities.
The scent is based on a classic Spanish scent thatfeaturesRosemary, Orange Blossom, Bergamot and Lemon.
