Semogue in Portugal made these brushes for Asylum Shave Works, our house brand. Made to our exact specifications, the handle is a beehive hybrid that we refer to as the Half Hive. The handle is lathe turned from a heavy resin and is designed to be both ergonomic and beautiful.
The generous 26.5mm diameter knot is a hand tied medium dense beauty that has excellent flow through, ample backbone and a soft face feel. It is great with both soaps and creams and is adept at both bowl lathering and face lathering.
