The Gillette “7 O’Clock” blades are the only blades I use. The GILLETTE ADJUSTSBLE RAZOR, which used to go for $1.98, back in the day, is no longer, but I found one in an Antique Store in VT. It requires a double edged blade and the “7 O’Clock” fits the bill. I love it as it is the only thing that gives me the close shave I want. That’s why I buy them 100 at a time.
Really have made a difference in my shaves. Would order again. Thanks for the recommednations.
To set up my prejudices, my favorite sharpest blade is a Feather and my cheap blade choice is Astra. The 7 is in between and a great blade that lasts me most of a week. I have a fairly fine beard and do a three pass most days. I have several razors and this opinion is based on using the blade in an EJ DE89. Hard to beat the value!
This blade goes well in mild razors. All Russian blades are worth experiencing. A shaver is sure to find one or more that are comrades with razor, soap and face.
