The inspiration for Sospeso comes from an old Neapolitan custom. People used to leave a coffee that had already been paid for, called “caffè sospeso”. If someone is happy in Naples, they pay for two coffees, one for themselves and one for someone else, a stranger. It's like offering coffee to the rest of the world.
