Semogue 1305 Boar Bristle Shaving Brush

I have had this brush for about 4 months and it has broken in perfectly. It will take you from12-20 shaves to get it right, but once you do, it's a gem. Excellent backbone, and just the right amount of scritchiness to gave you that nice exfoliation and get those whiskers ready. Works well with either hard soaps, croaps and creams. I bowl and face lather and it whips up a nice lather. I've only lost perhaps 6-8 hairs the first few weeks, but nothing since and the tips are getting softer each time. For the money, it's a no brainer. Excellent value in my opinion.

Very neat little brush. Came out of the tube without a funky animal smell. Easy break in. Good backbone as one would expect, but still very comfortable on the face although not exactly soft. Works well with hard soaps, soft soaps or creams, and I've tried a bunch this week. Makes a lot of lather, but small enough to get around the upper lip. Others say paint chips are bound to happen, but at this price it's hardly a lost investment. I recommend and would buy another if the whole thing chipped apart.

I'm surprised there have been no reviews on this brush. I've tried to buy one before at others places but it's frequently out of stock.
