Asylum Levante shaving soap is made for us by a top tier shaving soap manufacturer in Spain. This triple milled hard soap lathers like a champ and produces rich, creamy and protective lather that is also very moisturizing thanks to the generous dose of Shea Butter. The scent is based on a classic Spanish scent that features Rosemary, Orange Blossom, Bergamot and Lemon.

This refill puck fits the Asylum Black Wood bowls perfectly.

Great soap, good price

I have used this soap for 4 shaves and have enjoyed every single shave with it. I believe this soap is made by Lea which is a soap I have never used. This soap is nice and produces a thick creamy lather. I dumped the puck in the bottom of my Simpsons shaving mug and went to town on it with my Simpsons chubby 2 in best badger. With little effort, it loaded and lathered quick and because of the triple milling, the soap looks like I never touched it. I imagine it will take a long time to use up this soap. I will say, for a vegan soap, it can take a LOT of water. The soap seems a little airy if you don’t add enough water, but if you keep adding water it gets very creamy. It’s a simple soap that does a good job. My opinion on the scent isn’t much because it is very mild. I catch a little lavender but not a lot. I don’t mind light scents because I don’t like to offend other people who don’t like strong scents, mainly my wife. Dump this puck in a quality shave bowl or mug and give it a go, you won’t be disappointed. Nice choice Phil, I hope you keep doing collaborations like this with different soap companies, this one is a winner and I will be reordering.

This puc of amazing Spanish Soap

I’m amazed how well this soap worked. Perfect for straight shaving ! Will use on DE today with my Sailor. The glide was just perfect and scent was a 5 but that’s what I like. I prefer European soaps and this little guy outperforms many soaps that costs $30. Not sure what to pair it with balm wise but maybe ABC milks or balms .. thanks Phil for always getting the good stuff … triple milled amazing ness . You will not be disappointed !

Great triple milled soap!

Asylum Levante soap loads and lathers easily. Don’t be shy with hydration. The lather is rich and luxurious, providing plenty of cushion and glide. Frankly, I didn’t miss tallow in the formulation, it’s that good! The scent is light, yet it lingers for some time - I get faint whiffs during the day. Nice, very nice! I’m very pleased with Asylum Levante and will definitely buy it again. Thanks BullGoose, for an outstanding, triple milled shave soap!
