The larch extract goes a long ways towards improving the post shave feel by reducing the trans-epidermal water loss. In layman's terms, this soap will not dry out your skin.
The soap lathers easily and provides rich abundant lather. Try some today!

Cosmo is yet another fine soap from Saponificio Varesino. It lathers effortlessly and provides an extremely slick razor glide. Scent is a little subtle. While it is a little on the pricey side, you are worth it!
ALL of the Saponificio Varesino soaps are top notch. I mean, above ALL the rest.
Cosmo is no different. Easy to lather, great cushion and fantastic glide. The scent is pleasant and masculine.
I'm a BIG fan of their soaps. If you want to enjoy a shave, get this or any SV soap.
The SV Cosmo Beta 4.2 is the second SV shaving soap I have tried. I also have the SV 70th Anniversary Beta 4.1, which I liked so much I decided to buy more SV shaving soaps. This soap is very easy to lather and the scent is an indescribable delight. I would say it is a slightly more earthy scent than the SV 70th Anniversary. There is plenty of slickness and great cushion. My razor just glides over my skin.
This soap is a vegetal based soap with no animal tallow. Unlike less expensive shaving soaps, there are no dyes, preservatives, parabens, EDTA, mineral oil or palm oil. This is a high quality shaving soap that should last months if not a year with regular use. Well worth the extra expense.
I have a lot of soaps, ranging from factory soaps to artisan soaps, and so I have pretty high expectation for this soap. I paid around 55USD (incl. shipping) to Singapore, making this the most expensive soaps in my collection aside from MdC (Which I didn't pay that much as I buy from others).
I had a shave with the soaps few days ago and it shot up to one of my favourite, fighting in the second place with i Coloniali and almost fighting in the first position with Mike's Natural. Now, I'm considering getting the Saponificio Varesino 70th Anniversary, but I hesitated due to it being version 4.1. If it were 4.2, I will be adding it to my cart and shipping to Singapore as we are speaking.
I'm impatiently waiting for beta 4.3.
Just got this in a little over a week ago and immediately loved the scent. Nice and strong with really good longevity without being overpowering or offensive to others who may not enjoy it. Excellent slickness to the lather as I have come to expect from S.V. Shave Soaps and the post shave feel is absolutely amazing, especially when combined with the Cosmo After Shave Lotion which also carries the matched scent perfectly. Another A+ S.V. Product offered by an A+ Vendor here at BullGoose, Thank you very much for carrying this line of amazingly great Products.
