H.L. Thater Funf in Two Band Badger (Fan)
You asked for it and we listened. The bulb shaped Funf was so well received that we have commissioned a limited number of butterscotch beehive brushes with a fan knot.
The brush utilizes Thater's highly acclaimed two band badger hair in a very ergonomic butterscotch beehive handle. This brush combines soft tips, moderate backbone and superior flow through....especially once the brush breaks in. It is suitable for both hard soaps and soft creams and is great for both face lathering and bowl lathering.
Approximate Brush Dimensions:

The beehive fan is great. It lost some hairs on the first couple of uses which is not common for most Thaters I’ve purchased but the quality of the knot is the same. Perfection!
My brush arrived today, the hair density is really impressive and the handle quality superb!
Excellant brush...high quality...recommended...
When I purchase a brush from inventory as opposed to have a brush made it must be eye appealing. This brush is absolutely beautiful. A butterscotch beehive, wow it just jumped out to me. This is my third Thater. I also have a black handle 4125 in 26mm and a white in 28mm; both of them are also 2 band fan shape. And all three came from Phil. So I take delivery and the two most important things to me is the quality of the not as well as the handle. I give this brush a 15 out of 10. Next and most important is performance. Like my other Thaters the tips are as soft as cotton and the backbone is excellent. In addition, the flow through is perfect. I could go on and on but I am sure you get the point; once again I made an excellent choice. If you have looked at the Thaters on this website and said should I. Do it. In addition even though the conversion rate between the Dollar and the Euro is terrible, Phil has priced these excellent brushes with the customer in mind.
for years and years I've been a Rooney brush user. this last year they started to shed a lot and it is so frustrating. I had to do something so it was time to get a new brush.
I've heard so many great things about the Thater brushes, so I figured it was time. Best move ever. It is very different as compared to the Rooney.
The brush took a week to fully bloom and so its abilities. it makes great lather and it feels great on my face, and the flow thru is amazing.
It's so good I had already ordered another.
